In this episode of Light Heals, I sit down with my friend Mary Cusack to hear her remarkable story.
Mary grew up Catholic and, like so many people, faced the difficult work of reconciling her faith with her identity. She shares what it was like to come out, search for a spiritual home, and find a place in the Community of Christ where she and her wife, Miriam, can worship freely and live authentically.
Today, Mary is embracing leadership and building a joyful, settled life. Her journey is her own, but I believe many people will recognize something of themselves in it.
This is a conversation about faith, honesty, belonging, and the relief of no longer having to hide.
