Standing here in San Clemente, looking at the ocean, I kept thinking about how much life can look like this.
Beautiful. Calm. Peaceful.
But underneath, there can be currents pulling hard in directions you can’t even see.
I think a lot of us live that way.
From the outside, everything may look fine. We’re working, smiling, showing up, doing what people expect.
But underneath, fear, grief, shame, addiction, loneliness, or a life that doesn’t feel true can be pulling us farther and farther away from ourselves.
Healing begins when we finally recognize the current.
When we stop pretending everything is fine.
When we stop fighting what is true.
And start moving toward the light.
Darkness may be part of the journey, but it doesn’t have to be the destination.
Light Heals.
